Known as red Kuri squash or Hokkaido pumpkin is that pumpkin a typical autumn seasonal food. The orange/red flash has a very delicate and mellow chestnut-like flavour. You can not only eat the flash but also the skin. Used for many different kinds of meals I filled him and backed him in the oven. He is also a good one to cut into pieces and make pumpkin fries of it.

Scones are a classic baking product in New Zealand. The English do them too, but I learned to love them by the Kiwis. As a meal or while tea time – scones with or without a lot of butter are typical. The more cheese the better they are. I did not realize how much I missed them until my mom showed me a pic of them. I had to bake cheese scones – an hour after we only had six left … Looks like my beloved fam likes Cheese Scones.
