With 6 ingredients to the juicy yoghurt cake – the mug cake for every occasion

You will certainly know the situation of having to bring a cake. Whether it’s as a birthday cake, a souvenir for tea time or a children’s birthday party – this pound cake is very suitable for this. With only 6 ingredients you can bake this yoghurt cake. For this purpose, it is super simply individualized for every occasion.

In my training, it was normal for the trainees to bring a “farewell cake” when changing departments. It was not a must but bet, that it was better if you brought a cake. You can think of that what you want, in and of itself, it was always a beautiful moment. Only if you have to bring a cake every two months can it put a real strain on your wallet.

I love baking and have a lot of fun there. Every time to bake an elaborate cake became too much for me and so I started looking for something light and simple. A cake that goes fast, that is changeable and should taste good to everyone.

That’s when I came across this yoghurt cake. This cake is also a pound cake. If you want to mix your cake without weighing it, you can also take a 250ml yoghurt cup. You tip the yoghurt into your bowl and fill the cup twice with sugar and flour and once with olive oil. Then the four eggs and the baking powder – ready!

How the yoghurt cake can be changed

You can see, it consists of super few and cheap ingredients. Since these are standard ingredients, the yoghurt cake is not to be despised as a last minute cake! You could also use the ingredients for a baking mix in the glass – not only a last minute cake, but also a last minute gift!

As I said, it is also changeable. It can’t be better! Often I add cocoa powder to one half of the dough – carefully undercut the dark and the light and a beautiful marble pattern is created. Alternatively, you can add chocolate lentils or, depending on the season, the seasoned fruits.
